What is Marvin’s Marvelous Mechanical Museum?
A Museum? A Fun House? Or a Arcade?
Since the 80’s (1980’s that is) Marvin’s collection of unusual mechanical works and coin operated machines has been a well traveled fixture in Farmington Hills.
You can absolutely call it a museum. Lots & lots of very old and rare stuff. While old neon lights and circus posters cover the walls, above you large model planes fill the ceiling. Items that entertained folks decades ago for a penny seem trivial in the modern day, but still can be enjoyable, even at the modern day price of a quarter.
And you can call it a arcade. Pinball machines, and other games of skill and chance are more then willing to take your quarters.
And it is a fun house. Sometimes silly. Sometimes strange. Sometimes scary. Sometimes disgusting, but always lots of fun.
Marvin’s is a great place to go for a mid-day break from work or shopping (no admission charge) or to the family for a after outing. You will see things there that you will never see elsewhere.
Marvin’s Marvelous Mechanical Museum is open 7 days a week, and is located at 31005 Orchard Lake Road in Farmington Hills.
