Get Scared at Erebus Haunted Attraction in Oakland County

Oakland County is home to one of the scariest places in Michigan: the Erebus Haunted Attraction. Located in downtown Pontiac, this four-story venue is 30,000 square feet of frightening fun, making it one of the largest walk-through haunted attractions in the world.

Travel Back in Time at the 2018 Michigan Renaissance Festival

Hear ye, hear ye! The Michigan Renaissance Festival (Ren Fest) is returning once again to Holly, Michigan. Back for the 39th year, the Ren Fest is known for being one of Oakland County’s most unique annual festivals. Riveting jousts, colorful costumes, and delicious turkey legs are just a few things you can look forward to. The festival celebrates the end of medieval times in a fantasy world setting and is open weekends and Labor Day, beginning August 18th through September 30th. Hess-Hathaway Park

Looking to get outside and enjoy some sunshine? Head on out to Hess-Hathaway, a historic park located right here in Oakland County! Amenities include a large playground, farm animals, trails, a community garden, and more. In 1985, Mrs. Myrtle Hess and family, donated her farm land and property to Waterford Township. The park was named after Mrs. Hess and is now operated by Waterford Township Parks and Recreation.

From the pristine Riverside Park in Auburn Hills, to Shain Park in Birmingham, bands both local and well-known are prepared to play music of all genres from June through September.
