Oakland County Executive, L. Brooks Patterson, presented his 2015 State of the County Address to a crowd of over 500 guests last Wednesday evening in Pontiac. The mood was one of excitement and anticipation as the room waited for the County Executive to take the stage and to find out who the winner of the Elite 40 Under 40 Class of 2015 would be.

Melody Arabo was announced as the winner of the Elite 40 Under 40 Class of 2015 and took the stage. Arabo spoke to the guests about her passion for Oakland County and about what an honor it is to live and work in the community. Melody proudly announced L. Yesterday, Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson welcomed members of the 2014 Class of Elite 40 Under 40 for a morning forum to meet and network in a more personal setting.

The 2014 State of the County will take place this Wednesday! Our Country Executive L. Brooks Patterson will be delivering the address at 7PM on February 12th. Expected topics are Emerging Sectors, Medical Main Street, Automation Alley, and G2G Cloud Solutions, among others. The winner of the Elite 40 Under 40 is also set to be announced at the event.

The State of the County address is invitation only, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get a front row seat digitally! Civic Center TV will be live streaming the event at OakGov.com/Exec. If you prefer to listen, WDET-FM (101.9) will be airing the speech live as well.
