THE BIG DAY IS ALMOST HERE! Crowds will soon gather around televisions for the final countdown. When will he appear? What will he do? Punxsutawney Phil, the furry weatherman from Pennsylvania has been slumbering in his hibernating den since late autumn. Oakland County Cruises in Classics

Engines rev and mufflers roar. The summer sun reflects off of freshly waxed paint and chrome.

Each classic car, representing it’s own era, pulls into a designated spot – parked ever so delicately next to each other. Proud owners, with a wiping rag in hand, stand proud next to their vehicle.

Hundreds, often thousands, of visitors stroll past each vehicle with a unique curiosity that so many car enthusiasts share.

Time machines in the form of 1930’s Chrysler models and 1960’s Corvette models are displayed at classic car shows and cruises all over the county from June to September, transforming any location into an instant historical museum.
