Oakland County is investing in a healthier, more resilient future by expanding its urban tree canopy across public spaces. Through a long-term, data-driven approach, hundreds of native and site-appropriate trees are planted each year to improve shade, biodiversity, and environmental health.
Learn more about the project from Oakland County’s Mark Baldwin, Chief of Grounds Operations and Matt Reshke, who works in the grounds division.
