Holly Oaks ORV Park is open to all types of ORVs, including full-size vehicles, side-by-sides, all-terrain vehicles or ATVs, and motorcycles. Consisting of former and active sand and gravel mines, the park is located off I-75, at Grange Hall and Dixie Highway near Groveland Oaks County Park and Campground. The “North 60” is a “scramble area” in which riders are free to make their own paths. It is crisscrossed with old mining roads and features extreme terrain that ranges from mud flats to 40’ vertical cliffs. The “North 60,” like the rest of Holly Oaks ORV Park, is ride at your own risk. Holly Oaks is a joint state-county project operated by Oakland County Parks in a partnership with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources.

Holly Oaks Rider Information
For riders off-roading at Holly Oaks this winter, tickets for each day can be purchased online up to five days in advance. To ensure a fun and safe experience, ticket sales are capped at 300 per day. Online ticket sales will stop two hours before the park closes. In-person sales will stop one hour before the park closes. We will post on our Facebook page if capacity is reached for the day.
A ticket is needed for EACH vehicle that will be used in the park (not vehicles that will be left in the parking lot). Online and on-site tickets are $30 per vehicle (not per person). Each person who is driving or is going to drive the vehicle must sign a wavier on-line or in-person at the park before entry.
In addition, DNR ORV and ORV Trail stickers are required. You can purchase them at the park or at dozens of locations in/around Oakland County. Visit the DNR’s website for a map of locations near you. The total for both stickers is $36.25. Purchase Tickets
