Join the Fun and Connect to Resources at Health and Housing Summer Fest

To wrap up summer, Oakland County’s Health and Human Services will host Health and Housing Summer Fest, a family fun and resource expo. The event is open to all Oakland County residents and will be held on Monday, Aug. 19 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Catalpa Oaks County Park, 27705 Greenfield Rd., Southfield. The fun-filled day is full of activities, helpful resources, and free health services. Activities include:

*Socks are required to play in the bounce house and closed-toed shoes are required to use the rock-climbing walk.

In addition, to commemorate National Breastfeeding Month, guests can connect with breastfeeding support and resources. Breastfeeding parents can enter to win giveaways, talk with board-certified Lactation consultants and WIC breastfeeding peers, and access several other resources from community partners.
