Seasonal jobs and volunteer opportunities are a great way to earn hands-on experience for future careers in any field as well as to explore opportunities within the parks system.
Job postings for seasonal park positions are now open as Oakland County Parks (OCP) gears up for the busy warm weather months.
Volunteers needed for The Great Marshmallow Drop
Oakland County Parks also seeks volunteers for one-day opportunities.
Volunteers are needed for The Great Marshmallow Drop when a helicopter will drop 15,000 marshmallows from the sky at a fun-filled community event.
This is a great one-day opportunity for students to earn service hours, or for groups to volunteer!
Oakland County Parks will host the event from 10 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Friday, March 29 at Catalpa Oaks County Park, located at 27705 Greenfield Road, Southfield.
Email volunteer@oakgov.com or call 248-975-9717 to volunteer.
