Take a look at our video for a quick peek at the hands-on experiences Specs Howard has to offer.

At Specs, you’ll have access to all of the equipment, resources, and software needed to complete project-based course work. Professional faculty members teach the skills and theories necessary to work in the media industry, while providing direct experience in chosen fields.

With 12 month programs, flexible schedules, and night classes, being a student at Specs Howard allows the opportunity to return to school while maintaining most work and family obligations. Specs also offers an online component so you can do your school work from anywhere.

Are you wondering who Specs Howard is? The school is named after the professional moniker of its founder, radio pioneer Jerry Liebman. Liebman choose “Specs” because of his trademark horn rimmed glasses and amusingly, he randomly chose “Howard” out of a phone book. Over forty years later, you’ll still see Liebman in the hallways of the Specs Howard School of Media Arts.
