Oakland Schools Technical Campuses (OSTC) is a learning destination, where purposeful learning is centered on students. It provides practical career technical education to high school students from Oakland County’s 28 public school districts, public academies, private learning institutions, and home schools. Students get to explore the direction they want to take, experience amazing opportunities, and prepare to excel in the real world.
Career training and skill development takes place at one of four, state-of-the-art, multi-million dollar technical campuses in Oakland County. OSTC offers high school and college credit, national industry certifications, personalized instruction, awesome teachers, paid internships, student leadership opportunities, scholarships, and access to National Manufacturing Day events.

Enrolled students spend part of their day studying at their home district and the other part actively involved in one of nine nationally-recognized career “clusters”. Its four campuses offer curriculum offerings that center around 17 nationally recognized occupational areas.
Oakland Schools Technical Campuses take part in National Manufacturing Day
On Friday, October 6th, students from OSTC and other area schools will be traveling to more than 30 leading manufacturers in the region for a firsthand look at their operations during National Manufacturing Day. This is a great opportunity for students to explore many career options, plus hear directly from working professionals about what they do and the skills needed. 2017 marks the third time OSTC and Oakland County have participated in the national event, which grows bigger every year.
