Fun at the Ford Arts, Beats & Eats Festival

The 21st Annual Ford Arts, Beats & Eats is almost here! On Labor Day Weekend, the streets of downtown Royal Oak will be bustling with activity, from musical performances and art shows, to food from your favorite local eateries and fun events just for kids. Attendees will enjoy events that include the 2018 Juried Fine Art Show, over 200 performances across nine stages, a Silent Disco, and more. Labor Day Events in Oakland County

Though the summer is coming to a close and schools will soon be in session, there are still plenty of fun activities for the whole family to enjoy! On Labor Day weekend, Americans across the country will be enjoying a break from work to celebrate America’s workforce and the American Labor Movement.

The Michigan Renaissance Festival in Holly will take you back to the time of knights, castles, and more. There are activities for everyone this Labor Day weekend!

Travel Back in Time at the 2018 Michigan Renaissance Festival

Hear ye, hear ye! The Michigan Renaissance Festival (Ren Fest) is returning once again to Holly, Michigan. Back for the 39th year, the Ren Fest is known for being one of Oakland County’s most unique annual festivals. Riveting jousts, colorful costumes, and delicious turkey legs are just a few things you can look forward to. The festival celebrates the end of medieval times in a fantasy world setting and is open weekends and Labor Day, beginning August 18th through September 30th. Go back in time and experience the magic of the Renaissance!
