2026 Veterans Day Events in Oakland County

On Veterans Day, we honor those who have served in the U. S. Armed Forces and recognize their sacrifices and dedication to protecting our country.

Oakland County is proud to be home to thousands of veterans and their families. Local cities, villages and townships host events to celebrate these brave individuals.

As a symbol of honor and support, the Oakland County Circuit Courthouse, located at 1200 N. Telegraph Road in Pontiac, is illuminated in green through Nov. 11. The initiative, known as Operation Green Light, was started by the National Association of Counties to show appreciation for our nation’s veterans.
