On Veterans Day, we honor those who have served America in both war and peace, and have made incredible sacrifices to protect our nation. Many Oakland County cities, villages, and townships host Veterans Day events to honor America’s armed forces. Use our list below to observe Veterans Day 2022 and pay tribute at an event near you. Nov. 7: Know your VA Benefits online event hosted by Oakland Community College
Nov. 7 – Nov. 13: Operation Green Light for Veterans By shining a green light, we aim to let Veterans know that they are seen, appreciated and supported. Join us in Operation Green Light for Veterans, organized by the National Association of Counties, by changing one light bulb in the entryway of your home or business to a green bulb.
Nov. 17: Veterans Resource Fair in Lake Orion
