Oakland County Veterans Day Events

On Veterans Day, we honor those who have served in the United States Armed Forces and protected American citizens in times of war and peace. Many Oakland County cities, villages and townships host events to celebrate these brave people.

Be sure to see the Oakland County Circuit Courthouse at 1200 N Telegraph in Pontiac illuminated in green light from Nov. 10-16. Operation Greenlight was started by the National Association of Counties to show honor and support for our nation’s veterans.

Use our list below to observe Veterans Day 2025 and pay tribute at an event near you. There is also a list of Veteran and military discounts available on Veterans Day and throughout the year, as well as resources provided by Oakland County Veterans’ Services.

Verify registration, hours, locations and the weather forecast before heading out. Updated 10/22/2025.
