Support Your Local Chamber of Commerce Day – October 15, 2025

The third Wednesday of October marks Support Your Local Chamber of Commerce Day, a national observance created to raise awareness about the crucial role chambers play in sustaining, promoting and growing local businesses.

The Oakland County Board of Commissioners supports the efforts of local chambers of commerce throughout the county. Commissioners celebrate ribbon-cutting ceremonies and milestone achievements, and present proclamations and certificates of recognition to honor new businesses, anniversaries and other significant achievements. These recognitions celebrate local economic growth and highlight the county’s commitment to fostering a vibrant business community. Their active involvement helps raise awareness and strengthen partnerships between local governments and the business community.
