Join the WRC Water Affordability Coalition

Have you heard of the WRC Water Affordability Coalition? The coalition was created to develop community partnerships, foster trust in water service providers and bring awareness to water affordability programs.

The coalition was created by Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner Jim Nash at the beginning of 2020 as two separate community coalitions including the City of Pontiac and the Charter Township of Royal Oak.

The WRC Water Affordability Coalition has since evolved into a regional coalition of community stakeholders throughout Oakland County. During the meetings, participants receive updates on water affordability program developments and can provide feedback to help drive progress toward the mutual goal of water affordability.
