Splashing Around Oakland County Waterparks

Big bucket of water at Waterford Oaks Waterpark dumping water on children

Celebrate National Waterpark Day on July 28 by visiting Red Oaks Waterpark or Waterford Oaks Waterpark this week! Both waterparks feature awesome, must-see attractions that are sure to entertain the entire family.

Guests at Red Oaks can ride the waves in their wave-action pool, fly down a waterslide, float down the River Ride, and enjoy the new children’s Splash Pad with 52 interactive water features, including a water play climber with slides and a dumping bucket.

Waterford Oaks offers a wave pool decorated with palm trees near its shore. The waterpark also contains an enormous tipping bucket in their ‘Big Bucket’ playground, adorned with waterfalls, a climbing area, and sprays.

Both parks have areas for family picnics, and allow coolers with food and drinks to be taken into the park, but glass and alcohol is prohibited. Dine in the shade under umbrellas, canopies, or pavilions. Other amenities include a bathhouse complete with lockers, showers, bathrooms, and a changing area. Waterford Oaks Waterpark does not have a concession stand, but Red Oaks Waterpark offers light refreshments.
