Lawrence Technological University: Oakland County College Connections

Lawrence Technological University (LTU) prides itself on “Theory and Practice” – taking abstract ideas into the real world to solve tomorrow’s problems. Located in Southfield, LTU is recognized as one of the nation’s best schools for engineering, architecture, science, and applied technology. With a known reputation for changing the world, Lawrence Tech students and alumni have gone on to design and engineer the tools, buildings, and products that helped define their generations. Smaller class sizes, hands-on education, an energetic and lively campus, and countless opportunities help LTU students feel right at home.

Are you a brainiac, rebel, or daredevil? LTU is looking for students who are curious and driven that want to change the world through technology, science, and design. In addition to academics, Lawrence Tech offers plenty of opportunities to enjoy a full college experience. While you’re getting one of the best degrees in the country, you can enjoy major college athletics, intramural and club sports, fraternities, and more.

For the first time in over 70 years, LTU is reinstating its college football program. 45 student athletes were added to this new era of LTU football and will spend the year training, building, and preparing for their first game in September of 2018. LTU will compete as an independent program in 2018 and join the Mid-States Football Association of the NAIA in the fall of 2019.
