On Sunday May 14th, while some may be enjoying a Mother’s Day Breakfast in Bed, many will be getting up early, and heading down to the annual Royal Oak in Bloom flower and garden sale in the Williams Street parking lot near the Royal Oak Public Library and Royal Oak City Hall.
This year marks the 24th year for Royal Oak in Bloom, hosted by the Royal Oak Chamber of Commerce. For many, it’s a Mother’s Day tradition that celebrates the end of winter while welcoming the start of warmer weather, greener gardens, and bluer skies.
More than 70 vendors from across the state will bring truckloads of perennials, annuals, vegetables, small and large plants, and other items pertaining to yard and garden decor.
