The 2016 Michigan Winter Dog Classic Show is returning to the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi January 21-24. Michigan’s largest dog show brings thousands of dog enthusiasts to Oakland County, offering seminars, educational demonstrations, and obedience and conformation judging. There’s plenty of fun for the whole family!

Visitors can watch more than 160 breeds strut their stuff for the judges throughout the weekend. More than 7,000 dogs who attend, participate in judging, barn hunt trials, canine good citizen testing, dock diving trials, and more. Certified American Kennel Club (AKC) professional trainers will be showing guests how, “My Dog Can Do That” with special training sessions. This is an excellent chance to see how your dog would perform in agility events with a trainer.

The American Kennel Club rewards dogs with good manners at home and within the community by recognizing them as Canine Good Citizens. Has your dog been training for the AKC Good Citizen Test? Bring them to the show for evaluation to help your dog receive the recognition they deserve for being a good canine citizen. If you’re looking for a new addition to your home, stop by Rescue Row to visit the rescue organizations looking to find forever homes for their adoptable dogs.
