Over the last 14 years, Oakland County residents have enjoyed the works of William Shakespeare outdoors and under the stars (or sun) in Royal Oaks Starr Jaycee Park.
This year, The Waterworks Theatre Company will again be presenting two plays from the master of innuendo and wordplay.
In the evening show, Shakespeare’s tale of love, seduction, and intrigue in a time of war, “All’s Well That Ends Well,” has director Terry Carpenter sending the characters and the words of the master playwright into a time tunnel and dropping them in turbulent early 20th century England.
During the daytime family show, director Travis Reiff has his way with an abridged family-friendly version of Shakespeare’s tale of love and deception, “As You Like It.”
