Anyone can play in the snow at an Oakland County Park, ski hill or at a festival. Not a fan of the cold? There are plenty of indoor options too! Make sure to verify hours and location before heading out.  2018/2019 dates are being updated.  Keep checking for new and updated events.

Cross Country Skier

Explore slowly to take in all the woodland creatures, find new paths and beauty that you didn’t know existed. All Oakland County Parks and Recreation areas (except Groveland Oaks and Lyon Oaks Golf Course) are open for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and hiking. Glen OaksRed OaksSpringfield Oaks, and White Lake Oaks golf courses do not have groomed trails or warming areas but are open to those with their own equipment when gates are open. Enjoy winter at an Oakland County Park:
