Pride Month is dedicated to uplifting LGBTQ+ voices, celebrating LGBTQ+ culture, and supporting LGBTQ+ rights.

Oakland County’s vision is to be a healthy, safe, and thriving place where everyone is valued, quality of life is high, and economic opportunity abounds. We’re committed to diversity, equity and inclusion, not only for the LGBTQ+ community, but all the county’s diverse populations.

Throughout the summer, many Oakland County cities, villages, and townships, along with many communities nearby, are hosting Pride events. Use our list below to find a celebration near you! Last updated 5/31/2023

June 1: Sterling Heights Pride Flag Raising Ceremony at 6 p.m.
June 3: Ferndale Pride at 12:30 p.m.
June 3: Ortonville Pride Festival at 11 a.m.
June 3: Paint the Town with Pride at 1:30 p.m.
June 4: Madison Heights Arts & Pride at 2 p.m.
June 5: Pride Crowns at 6 p.m.
June 10: Motor City Pride Festival at 1 p.m.
June 10: Holly Pride in the Park at 1 p.m.

June 24: Pride in the Park at 1 p.m.
June 25: Berkley Pride Block Party at 12 p.m.

JULY

July 8: South Lyon Pride in the Park at 12 p.m.
July 14-16: Hotter Than July
July 15: Pride in the Wild at 6 p.m.

AUGUST

August 5: Ann Arbor Pride at 12 p.m.
August 26: Transgender Pride in the Park at 12 p.m.
