Congrats State Football Champs

Congratulations and high fives to the players and coaches of Clarkston and Orchard Lake St. Mary’s High Schools for their victories in the Michigan High School Football Championships.

The Clarkston Wolves earned their second straight Division 1 state title beating Saline 33-25. The game was the 27th consecutive victory for the Wolves, longest active run in the state.

Orchard Lake St Mary’s Eaglets topped Muskegon 7-0 to take the Division 3 title. This was the 6th state championship for the Eaglets, the others occurring in 1977, 1994, 1999, 2000, and 2011.

We’d also like to give a ‘pat-on-the-back’ to the twenty-two other Oakland County teams that were in the journey to become a state champion.
