Summer Movies in the Park

Filming in the nature

Friendship blossoms between two dogs as they find their way back home; a ragtag team of misfits sidesteps authority to save the galaxy; three women combat prejudice and adversity to reach the stars; a group of local animals find their voice.

These hit films, The Secret Life of PetsRogue OneHidden Figures, and Singmake up the 2017 program for Rochester’s annual Movies in the Moonlight. The event, which runs for four consecutive Saturdays, beginning July 15th, is an opportunity for the community to come together and enjoy movies that inspire, entertain, and provoke thought in viewers of all ages.

Community movie nights are a summer staple across Oakland County: from Southfield’s Movie Under the Stars at the Municipal Complex to Movie Nights in Milford’s Central Park. With so many movies and community settings to choose from, there’s something great for everyone.
