Thaw the Turkey

  • For every 4-5 lbs. of turkey, it takes 24 hours to thaw in the refrigerator.
  • Cold water thawing takes about 30 minutes per pound.
  • Microwave thaw – follow microwave manufacturers direction, cook immediately.
