Operation Good Cheer is celebrating 46 years of making Christmas wishes come true. The volunteer Christmas gift-giving program began in 1971 when a group of generous individuals gathered to wrap, organize, and deliver Christmas gifts to children in need. The program was started by Child and Family Services of Michigan, Inc. to make a difference in the lives of children who reside in foster care.
