The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office Operation Medicine Cabinet™ (OMC) was launched in 2009 to address the growing problem of prescription drug abuse, as well as the negative environmental impact of prescription drugs getting into our water system. OMC is a prescription drug disposal program authorized by the U.S Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). You can also safely dispose of your prescriptions with free Deterra personal disposal kits by calling the Alliance of Coalitions for Healthy Communities at 248-221-7101.
