Helping Residents Find Health and Housing Resources
The current Oakland County Nurse on Call hotline has expanded and been renamed to the Oakland Connects Helpline. Call 800-848-5533 or email OCHelpline@oakgov.com for assistance with:
- Health-related resources and requests for information
- Referrals to other Oakland County programs
- Immunization waiver education appointments
- Referrals to housing resources and connection to Oakland County’s Housing Resource Center
- Navigating the shelter system
- Food and transportation
- And more
Public health nurses or community health workers are available to chat Monday-Friday, from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
