As winter releases its grip and our thoughts turn to spring, now is a great time to start planning your next family reunion, graduation party, company picnic, birthday party or other special event. Oakland County Parks (OCP) offers a host of rental options, from elegant event center facilities to picturesque picnic shelters across all our parks. Our picnic shelters are in beautiful natural settings, often with water access and kayaks and peddle boats for rent nearby.
- Different picnic shelter sites can accommodate 20-500 guests.
- Sites include large outdoor cooking grills, sand volleyball and horseshoes pits.
- Special packages for mobile recreation units – including climbing towers and inflatables – are available (call Mobile Recreation at 248-858-0916 for more information).
- Individuals/groups bring their own food or caterer for picnics and parties.
Take a look at our interactive map for a list of OCP’s picnic shelters, including parking capacity and fees.
