Clean Air Action Days in Effect for Oakland County

Due to wildfires in Quebec and Ontario, Canada, the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) has declared June 8-10 at midnight to be Clean Air Action days. High levels of tiny particles, called PM2.5, are in the air in southeast Michigan counties, including Oakland County.

Michigan EGLE recommends people with heart or lung disease, older adults, children, and teens take these precautions:
