Hear ye, hear ye! The Michigan Renaissance Festival (Ren Fest) is returning once again to Holly, Michigan. Back for the 39th year, the Ren Fest is known for being one of Oakland County’s most unique annual festivals. Riveting jousts, colorful costumes, and delicious turkey legs are just a few things you can look forward to. The festival celebrates the end of medieval times in a fantasy world setting and is open weekends and Labor Day, beginning August 18th through September 30th. The Woodward Dream Cruise is Driving In!

Get ready to rumble, Oakland County! The world’s largest one-day automotive celebration, The Woodward Dream Cruise, is rolling back into town Saturday, August 18th. Travel along the 16-mile stretch of Woodward Avenue from Pontiac to Ferndale, and cruise through nine Oakland County communities: Berkley, Birmingham, Bloomfield Hills, Bloomfield Township, Ferndale, Huntington Woods, Pleasant Ridge, Pontiac and Royal Oak.

2018 Oakland County International Airport Open House and Air Show

The time has nearly arrived for the Oakland County International Airport Open House and Air Show. On Sunday, August 12th from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., head over to the airport to view the dazzling spectacles of aviation in Oakland County. The event features an abundance of awesome activities, from an airshow put on by professional aviators to rides in helicopters and airplanes. In addition, attendees can peruse the airport grounds and learn about classic World War II aircraft, and a variety of military, commercial, and civilian air vehicles.
