On Labor Day weekend, Americans across the country will be enjoying a break from work to celebrate America’s workforce and the American Labor Movement.

Looking to get outside and enjoy the fresh air? Try the 11th Annual Labor Day Bridge Walk and Run in Rochester! In the mood to pursue some fine art, sample tasty treats, and rock out? Arts, Beats, and Eats festival in Royal Oak will host their annual Juried Fine Art show, while offering food from 40 local restaurants and have over 200 musical performances across nine stages. The Michigan Renaissance Festival in Holly will take you back to the time of knights, castles, and more. There are activities for everyone this Labor Day weekend!

Travel Back in Time at the 2018 Michigan Renaissance Festival

Hear ye, hear ye! The Michigan Renaissance Festival (Ren Fest) is returning once again to Holly, Michigan. Back for the 39th year, the Ren Fest is known for being one of Oakland County’s most unique annual festivals. Riveting jousts, colorful costumes, and delicious turkey legs are just a few things you can look forward to. The festival celebrates the end of medieval times in a fantasy world setting and is open weekends and Labor Day, beginning August 18th through September 30th. Go back in time and experience the magic of the Renaissance!

Fun for All at Ford Arts Beats & Eats

Ford Arts Beats & Eats, the annual festival filled with artwork, live music, and mouth-watering cuisine, is back for its 20th year this Labor Day weekend. From September 1st through 4th, festival-goers will be treated to special events and performances, including the 2017 Juried Fine Art Show and 200 live performances across several stages.
