Celebrate without Fireworks
A fireworks-free experience around the Fourth of July is well-received by veterans, families with small children, pet owners, and others. There are plenty of ways to celebrate America’s birthday without fireworks:
- Visit a fireworks-free campground at Groveland Oaks County Park and Campground, Addison Oaks County Park and Campground, select state parks, and more.
- Attend a parade like the one in Clawson, Milford, or Northville.
- Enjoy one of the many festivals going on this weekend, like Summerfest in Auburn Hills, Taco Fest in Lake Orion, Victorian Strawberry Festival in Troy, or Art on the River in Commerce Township.
