Hit the Slopes in Oakland County

Winter weather is here so it’s time for some early season shredding at the three ski and snowboard resorts in Oakland County. Skiers and snowboarders can hit the slopes at Alpine Valley in White Lake, Mt. Holly in Holly, and Pine Knob in Clarkston. From beginner hills with tow ropes and Wonder Carpets to terrain parks and racing – there is something at each resort for everyone!

Whether you are a beginner or experienced skier or snowboarder, each resort offers rentals, lessons, school clubs, season passes, and other programs to complete your winter weather excursion close to home. While you’re there, skiers, snowboarders, and even spectators can take advantage of the lodge, pro shops, and events at each resort.

Alpine Valley Ski Area – White Lake

Alpine Valley features a 300 feet vertical drop and 25 runs, nine chairlifts, four rope tows, and a Wonder Carpet. Freestyle skiers and snowboarders will enjoy four different styles of terrain parks designed for all ability levels. Mt. Holly Ski & Snowboard Resort – Holly

Mt. Holly offers something for everyone with a 350 vertical drop and seven chairlifts, four rope tows, and two Wonder Carpets. Ski or snowboard 20 trails, ranging in difficulty from beginner to difficult, and three snowboard parks with an assortment of terrain features. Learn more about Mt. Pine Knob Ski & Snowboard Resort – Clarkston

Hit the slopes at Pine Knob, with a 300 feet vertical and 14 runs and three terrain parks. It offers six chairlifts, four tow ropes, and two Wonder Carpets.
