Splashing Around Oakland County Waterparks

Families from all across Michigan can find fun in Oakland County’s two waterparks! Whether you’re looking to calmly float down a lazy river, ride the waves in a wave pool, or speed down a slide, the waterparks maintained by Oakland County Parks and Recreation are sure to be a fantastic day with family and friends under the sun.

Red Oaks Waterpark and Waterford Oaks Waterpark feature awesome, must-see attractions that are sure to entertain the entire family.

Guests at Red Oaks can soar above the waves in their wave-action pool, fly down a triple turn waterslide, and get drenched in water at the soak station.

Waterford Oaks offers a wave pool decorated with palm trees near its shore. The waterpark also contains an enormous tipping bucket in their ‘Big Bucket’ playground, adorned with waterfalls, a climbing area, and sprays. Waterford Oaks also has an amazing ride called the ‘Ragin’ Rapids’ that starts three stories in the air!dscn1638

Both parks have areas for family picnics, as well as concessions. Dine in the shade under umbrellas, canopies, or pavilions. Other amenities include a bathhouse complete with lockers, showers, bathrooms, and a changing area.

Guests can enjoy unlimited visits all summer long with a season pass. Season passes are available for purchase at both parks, but are only valid at the park they are purchased at. Oakland County residents can purchase both tickets and seasons passes at a discounted rate.
