Let Oakland County’s NO HAZ Collection team help you safely dispose of household hazardous materials ranging from air fresheners and artist paints to propane cylinders and prescription medicines.
You’d be surprised just how many everyday items are considered hazardous waste. Many of the objects that help us in our daily lives become dangerous when disposed of alongside regular rubbish. Do you have an item you’re unsure about? Check the NO HAZ list of accepted and non-accepted materials or call the NO HAZ Hotline at 248-858-5656.

Before you arrive, please complete the 2017 NO HAZ Registration Form and plan to bring it with you. The registration form lists whether your community will charge $10, if a voucher is required, or if it is FREE. Member residents can attend any of the collections during the regular collection hours. If your community is not a member of NO HAZ, you may participate in the collection events for a $50 charge to be paid at the event in cash or check made out to Oakland County NO HAZ.
By choosing to safely dispose of potentially hazardous household materials, you’re also choosing to protect your friends, family, and neighborhood from harmful chemicals and other dangers.

Terrible!!! Waiting in line 2 hours is unacceptable. Very inefficient Going to throw paint in trash from now on. Never saw such a poorly organized event
