The Great Marshmallow Drop is Almost Here!

Oakland County Parks and Recreation’s The Great Marshmallow Drop is coming up soon! Mark your calendars for April 14th at 10 a.m. and get ready to have a fantastic time with your friends and family at Catalpa Oaks in Southfield.

Your little ones will be amazed and enthralled as a helicopter drops 15,000 marshmallows down from the sky. Children can collect one and turn it in for a prize. It definitely puts a fun and unique twist on your typical Easter Egg hunt. Marshmallows will be dropped three times to accommodate multiple age groups: ages 4 and younger, along with individuals with disabilities; ages 5 – 7; and ages 8 – 12.

Take a look at our video to check out the fun and excitement that’s in store.

This FREE event is presented by Oakland County Credit Union and sponsored by KIND. Hundreds of volunteers from the Oakland County Parks and Recreation Department, the Oakland County Sheriff’s Department, and other community members will be on hand to help out.
