How to Cut Lead Time in Job Shops and Custom Manufacturing Environments
Wednesday, April 5th, 9:30-11:30 AM
Fee: $40, pre-registration is required

Cutting lead time and serving customers more quickly is critical for job shops that want to become more competitive and profitable. Those who respond quickly to customer needs have a higher probability of winning orders. This workshop helps you identify and eliminate delays in your business process. You should cut lead time at least 50 percent using the methods from this workshop. It is designed specifically for tool and die shops, machine shops, mold shops, fabrication and assembly, wood products, custom design and build, prototype shops, print shops, and other types of order-driven businesses.

This workshop is designed for individuals who are at the beginning stages of starting a business. It will help aspiring entrepreneurs assess their abilities to lead and manage a company, as well as evaluate market and sales potential for their products/services. Start-up costs, financing options, and business planning are introduced, along with necessary steps to getting started.

CEED Lending Small Business Loan Orientation
