Hundreds, often thousands, of visitors stroll past each vehicle with a unique curiosity that so many car enthusiasts share.

Time machines in the form of 1930’s Chrysler models and 1960’s Corvette models are displayed at classic car shows and cruises all over the county from June to September, transforming any location into an instant historical museum.

Every car has a story. Stories of life, love and the pursuit of happiness. Stories that provide flashbacks to the glory days and a booming Motor City. A period when so many reminisce on simpler times.

Whether you want to stroll through history, or display your own classic car or hot rod – you can do so at various auto events taking place in and around Oakland County, including the famous Woodward Dream Cruise.

Every August, Motor City comes out in full force to cruise Woodward. The ‘Dream Cruise’ represents different eras and various walks of life. It is truly a day to celebrate all that Metro-Detroit has contributed to the auto industry.
