Typically, a day out on the golf course starts in the morning – sunshine, a cool breeze, and a full afternoon ahead of you. But have you ever hit the greens at night?
Oakland County Parks & Recreation is hosting a night time disc golf event, aptly called Glow in One. Glow in the dark disc golfing will be taking place on Friday, August 15th and Saturday, August 16th at the Red Oaks Golf Course – and is sure to be a glowing good time!
In addition to hittin’ the greens in the dark, participants will enjoy an on-site dinner (included in registration), and friendly competitions – including longest drive and closest drive to the pin. Non-cash prizes will be awarded to first place mens, women’s, and co-ed scramble winners of each night.
On-site registration, check in, and dinner begins at 7:00pm. Tee off for the scramble is 8:45pm.
Registration is now open for Glow in One – but space is limited! Each night is limited to 54 players, and teams consist of two individuals. This event is open to anyone 18 years or older, and players are to provide their own equipment.
Pre-registration (available until Tuesday, August 12th) offers a discount: $50 per team, as opposed to the on-site registration price of $60.
