Concerts in the Park (Oakland County Communities 2014)

Many Oakland County communities have summer concert series in their parks and downtowns.

With the wide range of musical styles that are presented in these concerts, you can easily find one that fits your musical taste, or take a chance and just go. You never know, you might discover something new and different that you like.

Here is a list of a few communities that we know of in Oakland County that have summer concerts. If you know of any others, please let us know.

Auburn Hills “Friday Nights” Downtown Music Series
Friday 7 p.m. in Riverside Park.
through August 22 (no concert on July 4th)

Birmingham In The Park Summer Concerts
Wednesday Nights, 7:00 p.m in Shain Park
through Aug 13

Farmington Hills Stars in the Park
Thursdays 7:00 p,m. Heritage Park
through August 28th (no concert on July 3rd)

Downtown Farmington – Rhythmz in Riley Park
Riley Park (Downtown) Fridays 7:00 p.m.
through August 29th (no concert July 18th)

Huntington Woods – Concerts in the Park
Scotia Park – Tuesdays 7:15 p.m.
through July 29th

Lathrup Village – Summer Concerts
Village Municipal Park – Wednesday 7:00 p.m.
through August 13th

Rochester – Music in the Park
Municipal Park – Thursdays 7:30 p.m.
through July 24th

Royal Oak – Summer Concert Series
Royal Oak Library Lawn – Thursdays 6 p.m.
July 10th – August 14th

Southfield – Eat to the Beat
City Centre Plaza – Thursdays Noon
July 10th,  Aug. 14th, and Sept. 11th

Southfield – Gazebo Concert
Burgh Historical Park – Tuesdays 7 p.m.
July 2nd through August 13th

Wixom – Summer Concert Series
Sibley Square Park – Thursday 7:00 p.m.
