#100KChallenge – Rescue Me Saturday

10487228_10152563111569451_7595859877746187157_nTomorrow (Saturday, June 28th), join the Oakland County Pet Adoption Center for Rescue Me Saturday, their second event as a part of the #100KChallenge. The center is competing for a $100,000 grant from the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) and Rachael Ray; the center’s #100KChallenge goal is to adopt out 2,014 pets during the months of June, July and August.

Rescue Me Saturday will feature local rescue groups. These groups tend and care for animals that require a little more TLC, however through the rescue process, animals can be adopted. This is your chance to talk with rescue group professionals, learn more about the application process for rescuing, and meet their adoptable animals.

The event runs from 10am – 4pm at the Oakland County Pet Adoption Center, located in Auburn Hills. For more information about the Center’s pet adoption events, visit our website HERE.
